Kimberly Odekirk participates in Caravan Festival of the Arts 2011 and displays The Neighborhood Store, Oil on Canvas painting. The art piece was a lively representation of Eastern culture meeting the West, imbibed with holy symbolism, diverse communities and the bustle in a Cairo local market.

Peaceful Times emphasized the idea of coming together of people to solve their differences immediately while, A Day of Prayer symbolized the role of religious institutions for bringing people together in difficult times.
